Anyone pop a wheelie yet

I recall one of the trailers for this showing off the drag race had an older muscle car lift the front tires when coming off the line.

Anyone able to replicate this or was it simply show.

Do you mean that car? If so, that isn't a "older" muscle car, it's a "newer" muscle car.

yep, it happens to be the camaro concept.

And I'm not sure how exactly to pull of a wheelie in the game, but the general idea is to have a read wheel drive car, a lot of torque, and and boost a lot of power into 1st gear

it has a huge amount to do with having the right suspension tune, and getting huge amounts of traction off the line, or bouncing the front end up like in GT2.

Memory must be hazy on the car type, but that isn the point of the question.

Has anyone been able to get the front to lift off the ground in a drag race....

I don' think its possible. The race tires just don't give you enough grip. I had a 900+ horsepower ram srt10 and with my best throttle control it isn't even close to the front wheels coming off the ground.

Thats probably because it's a pickup, with all the weight being right up front. Not sure if it is possible to do it in this game, but if it is, you sure as hell wouldn't be able to do it in a pickup.

like someone said, it's all in the settings, vehicle and your technique...a friend gifted me a Porshce Turbo in FM2 and it was set up to do a wheelie (but you had to hit it just right)...he could lift and hold it regularly (1-2 sec.) from a complete stop but i was only able to do it a few times before i gave it up.

so, if it can be done in FM2 it can be done in FM3...good luck
