How to manually change resolution (out of game)?

I recently got a new TV that supports 1080p resolutions, but unfortunately, my NFS Undercover is set to 1680 x 1050. The game won't open on my new TV, and I can't set my resolution to something compatible on my old TV. How can I manually change this resolution? I tried looking for the registry but I can't seem to find it. Thanks.

Add -SAFEMODE (outside the quotes)in the Target field of the program shortcut.
Sarcasm passes for serious here.

Registry settings are here, example values for 1280 (hex 500) x 960 (hex 3c0):

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Games\Need for Speed Undercover]

You can copy the 5 lines above and create a .REG file, then edit that file for the resolution you want, then just double click on the .REG file to change resolutions.
