Where's Fritz?

I just got back to 1000 AD where I got back from the cave with that counter attack monster, and I received a vest from Lucca's father. It says to go to Truce Market to visit the store where Fritz will give me 10 mid ethers. Only problem is, I don't remember finding him. Anybody help? Thx! :-)

He's the guy behind the counter, who you freed during your escape from jail.

Yeah, I think I have a glitch or something. Cause I visit the shop and the dad is there wondering where his son is at. Not that it's a big deal but 10 mid ether's would really help me later on.

I missed this, too, in my first playthrough(s?). You have to go out of your way to rescue him (or off to the side, if you waited the days out), otherwise they go Queen of Hearts on 'im. Drove me batty looking for the guy in end-game.

Apparently you forgot to free him from the jail. It's no big deal.

I just find it funny, that this game is about time traveling but I can't go back in time where I was at the prison to free him. :-P

It's something of an InuYasha system (sorry, prolly other examples, but that the one that I realized this particular mechanic with).

He's dead, you jerk. Because you were too busy saving your own ass to stop for one minute and untie him.
