I keep getting items that increase my debuffing, but i don't know what it means. I assume it's something I will learn about later, I am just on disc two. But I want to know so I can know if I want to upgrade it, or dismantle them.

Debuffing is what Saboteurs do. It's the opposite of Synergists.

They make your enemies weaker. Like Deprotect/Deshell/Poison etc.

Debuffing is another term for inflicting stat ailments on enemies. In this instance, I'd assume you found Vanille's Belladonna wand, which increases her odds to inflict status ailments when she's in her Saboteur role.

Yes to the last poster. So if I make Vanille a good Saboteur, then I should equip her with debuffing abilities?
