So, asking information from people who have cleared most or all of hard mode for this game.
Other than monsters having less HP and that they hit harder is there any other changes to hard mode? More quests? More items? Kind of looking for a reason to actually play hard mode other than, slight monster changes.
They hit harder on Hard mode with the same amount HP as Normal Mode. I think most people had trouble with Baulson Quest(believe me) since bandit here can kill you in one turn(mostly Baulson will be the first one to die in first turn if you are not lucky enough)
My theory is that since hard mode makes every monster harder, it makes every battle a bigger stat grind than when you played normal mode.
What I mean is that people can abuse the system to simulate a battle to be hard by prolonging the battle in regular mode. In hard mode, the sheer difficutly makes every battle to be prolonged by default (more healing/reviving), and so you would get better stat gains fighting hard mode 'normally' than if you fought the same battle in regular mode 'normallly'. --- Turn 1: Enhance Spells Turn 2: Overdrive, Water Blast X5
