I only have 90 bag slots, and I'm almost always at 85~90. I have loads of different weapons, but I always think "If I change characters, I might need that." Same with armour.

Am I alright to sell the Diamonds, Rubies, and whatnot, or are they needed down the line? Drake Scales? Song Book/Tale of Iloren? Lifestone, Frostrock, etec?

If you can wait till you get to camp, that guy will keep all the stuff you sell him in his inventory so you can always buy it back later on, and there is also wardens keep dlc that you can store all the stuff you want...hope this helps

He will? I thought they got rid of the buyback once you closed the window.

And I don't really want to pay 500 points, for 10 minutes of gameplay and a box (like the Shale DLC).

when you add in the taigan stuff its a little longer. And also includes dialog with the forge guy at the anvil of the void. Although, I got it free with my copy, so it's hard to say it sucks for me >.>

Wow. Warden's Keep and The Stone Prisoner only take ten minutes?

I must be SLOW.

Actually it's more like 20-30 minutes of gameplay, the storage chest, the merchant, the smith that sells grey warden armor, the meteor which makes the coolest looking sword in the game imo, and some very cool weapons and other stuff you find in the castle i.e. wintersbreath, etc.

Not to mention a pretty cool story about the Wardens from a generation back.

On the subject though, keep the Drake Scales. As far as selling to your camp vendor, be sure it's not "junk" to him if you want to retain it. Items will later appear in their applicable areas in his inventory, not buyback. ie a sword in weapons, diamond in misc items, etc.

Blank vellum, private documents, some jewels (do a search on what dwarf jewels you can donate to see which to keep), galls if you're done with the corpse questline, etc. can be sold. I also cart off all equips that aren't somewhat special, because as said before, you can buy them back from your camp vendor so long as you sell them directly to him. Just try to always hold on to 10 gold or so to be sure you get it back.

Later in the game, even with 120 backpack space, you just plain won't need most armor and weapons you find. You can outfit your whole camp party and still want to sell most stuff off.
