Overall I really enjoy Dragon Age, and would love to play again. However, the one part of the game I can't stand is the Sloth Fade...is there any path I can choose to not have to deal with this?

Main: Arakune; Hakumen knows how to kill him...but ironically he can't get out of the corner.

No, but personally I found it much quicker and slightly more enjoyable my second time through. First just concentrate soley on getting the different forms, then go back only after you have all of them for the stat upgrades.

Once you have the forms enemies are pretty easy, and you can spam the Golem form then revert for cheap HP.

You can skip over the whole tower if you want to.

Just because you have the treaty, doesn't mean you need to use it.

Slightly off-topic, but "Sloth Fade" would be an awesome name for a band. :D

For a metal band, yes.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
