Do mods work on Xbox?

I want the one that adds 9 companions. (I felt Lady of the Forest needed to be a companion, this mod fixes that)

No, but they work on the PC version.

I should really get this on the PC just for the hell of it one day. I mean I hate playing games on the PC but all those mods to play with...

I originally bought this for PC, but my laptop could only run it with terrible settings and it was still run like crap. Now that I have a working gaming PC, I'm really enjoying the PC version.

Not worth it. I have yet to see one half decent mod for this game. They basically boil down to cheats, badly made items from other series, and poorly written attempts to add additional quests to the game.

The PC version is good if you like how the interface is setup, but this isn't a game where mods add a whole lot outside the group of people that will always claim PC games are superior due to modding, even for games without a modding community or where the modding community is loathed by nearly everyone else in community.

You're either grossly misinformed or lying. There are some great mods for DA:O PC edition. The game was meant as a PC game and ported to console. The released version even came with development tools specifically for modding. You're cheating yourself by sticking with the inferior console version.
