I Am Alive

Ok, so its December now and we still havent gotten a solid release date! What gives?! They said this winter, well i just hope that they announce this release date soon like within the next few days because i cant say how excited ive been waiting for this game for a long time.
I just need a release date.... ;_;

If it doesn't come out this month, then it was delayed. I hope they're not making this such a low-key release that they don't even announce delays, or even a release date. That would just be asking to be shot in the foot as far as initial sales go.

Then again, I don't know how Sony/MS deal with DD releases. I know Nintendo is terrible as far as DD games go and you can't even set a release date, they just kind of put them up whenever.

Sony and MS have release dates, but some we don't find out until like days before. I know Hydrophobia was like that. Still, did they say December or Quarter 4, 'cuz if they said Quarter 4 it would also count the first few days of January.

Yeah, It's probably January. As the the trailer only has "this winter" as the release date. And Wikipedia says it's coming in 2012 with this as the citation:

From a business perspective, wouldn't it make more sense to release around or even on Christmas day? A lot of potential purchases from people who received points cards. Oh well, as long as it turns out good.

I always thought "winter" meant until February. Unless it said 2012, but it still might mean fiscal year 2012, which might go in 2013.

But, I'm a bit out of the loop on this, so this is just some random thoughts.

I'm super excited for this as well. Has there been any word on price?

Interesting, there is an I Am Alive dynamic theme coming tomorrow, so I wonder if that means it's coming soon.

Theme was pretty disappointing. Just one of the generic ones where everything is a flat cut-out except for an mpeg in the middle so it can be called dynamic. Strange thing is that I can only find it if I specifically search for it, probably because it's PSN+ exclusive.

By "this winter" I was kind of hoping they meant by the end of this year... I've been waiting for this game for so long!

I hear you, although if it is going to be this month, they are doing a good job of keeping it hidden.
