Let's face it, the crafting system in SWG was pretty intense. Albeit a tad complicated, I would like to see a slightly more simplified version of it implemented in this game. I loved how essentially, no two crafted items came out the same.
Also, and this is a big one, player housing. Let's face it, the ability to make your own city with friends/guildies was awesome. Don't like someone? Band them from your starport. Want trainers there? Done. Using peoples extra lots to build a rediculously large wall of houses around your town, so that finding an entrance is nigh impossible? A must.

Agreed... I would also like the profession system Pre-NGE SWG had.. i loved being able to customize my build with 32 different proffesions.
I enjoyed the profession system, but I think a complete respec was too much. "I want to be this class now, with no work or preparation whatsoever lulz." No, I think resets are okay, where you keep all items and stuff, and just start your profession from square one, but no full on respecs.

I would like SWG's economy to be represented in the game (so many of the concepts behind SWG are brilliant in general), but I really don't see why this game would draw anything from the old SWG. It's relatively the same license but that doesn't mean it has to be anything like SWG.
