Especially the sandbox part, not much freedom, even compared to previous GTA
no garage (parking lot seriously?)
can't buy safehouses
the story is good, but then i would just buy linear games instead of a "sandbox" one
in Saints Row you can conquer territories, owning shops, and the flying things don't suck
and here i found people saying how godly GTA 4 and how SR3 is crap, but that ain't true, at all

GTA IV was the result of trying to give the GTA series a serious tone (both in story and gameplay).
Saints Row was born out of exaggerating and almost parodying what the GTA series used to be.
Both can be fun in their own ways but they took almost opposite approaches to the genre.
