The new trailer kinda gave off that vibe and it definitely ain't a bad thing.
There was a time, when the Earth and the Moon were at war.

Kojima+Castlevania= >=O.

A much needed reboot in my opinion. IGA made a mess. He should stay with the handheld titles and leave the big games to a more competent team. Kojima is a wonderful choice for Castlevania and you can already see the huge, huge improvement the franchise is having with his company at the helm. For the first time in what has seem like forever we don't have a feminine/generic main character, and we can see some 3D graphics that aren't embarrassing compared to the bests in the market.

As a fan, I can say Castlevania is finally having the treatment it deserves.

I suspect that Castlevania has never had a main character that wasn't generic or feminine.
I welcome counterexamples. I'm trying to think of them myself. The only ones that fit the bill so far are Cornell and possibly Jonathan and Nathan.
