Imageepoch is working on a new 7D game scheduled for fall, apparently.

A quick twitter search yields a few more details:

* Producer - Kodama Rieko (yes)
* Director - Niinou Kazuya (yes)
* Sound - Koshiro Yuzo (YES!)
* Character designer - Miwa Shirou (Don't know if want)
* Can alter character appearance AND voice this time around
* Expect skills and classes to be significantly different
* Confirmed classes from source: Samurai, Trickster, Destroyer, Psychic, Hacker
* Flowaro is coming back, random encounters are back
* Dragons as symbol (FOE-style) encounters are coming back
* You are a part of the anti-Dragon brigade, Murakumo, in 2020 AD Tokyo

... Sounds OK to me. Except maybe that last part. We'll see?

At least they going back to their best game, instead of more PSP Last Ranker, Final Promise Story...etc crap.

Mh. Not too interested seeing as it's a PSP game.
That aside though, just how badly informed is that site? Right in the first line: "Sega is continuing their first-person dungeon crawler series 7th Dragon"
Wait, what?
Actually, screw the first line. The title of the article: "7th Dragon 2020 Coming To PSP, But Won’t Look Like The DS Game"
They clearly haven't even bothered putting screenshots from the PSP game next to the DS game. They look exactly the same (with the exception that the PSP game has 3d characters, but in the exact same style as the 2d ones on the DS)

Was Last Ranker that bad? I heard it was pretty decent
