I don't know if I've ever had to reset a game so many times...

Whenever I play this game I'm always reminded of why I like the first one so much better!

Some of the caves in this game are absolutely ridiculous. I can't remember the last game I've played where I've had to reset it so many times lol.

I just hope for Pikmin 3 they improve the Pikmin AI ("DON'T ****ING WALK BY THE ENEMY, TAKE THE LONGER WAY!") or not make it so heavy on the caves.

At least it saves after every floor.

But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

The way I see it, you should always clear a pathway for the Pikmin before you bring things back to the pod. They will usually try the shortest route that avoids water if they aren't all blue. White Pikmin can get away with a ton of things because they are so fast. Most enemies would not get a chance to harm them at that swiftness.

But you know, you can always not reset the floor and continue on. As long as you have 25+ Pikmin, you can bring back most treasures just fine. Not to mention that a number of caves give you Queen Candypop Buds to boost your Pikmin counts while underground. If I loose 50 Pikmin in an explosion, then I was careless and will have to replace them. No need to reset endlessly trying to avoid the mistakes or setups that catch you off guard.

I only reset when I lose a massive amount of pikmin, and if your careful, that doesn't happen.

Isn't the point of the game that you guide the pikmin? You have to clear obstacles in the way from point A to B most the time. Whether that's enemies, fire, water. You also have to control your group, split them up, make them walk in a straight line vs. a big mass etc. Think you're just playing it wrong.
