Is this just MP2 with wii controls?
Any added areas, features, weapons, etc? Cause I might consider buying this again ^_^

It's just MP2 with Wii controls and widescreen support. No new actual game content.

The original was widescreen....

This is pathetic.... They are doing this with a lot of games to rake in new money for old games.. They're doing it with another resident evil game too..

I don't mind it so much, I often end up playing older games I've already beaten later on down the road. I'll be happy just so long as they use the controls from Metroid Prime 3. On another note, one less reason I have to keep up with a gamecube controller.

I don't recall the original being widescreen.
I DO however recall being able to adjust the screen-stretch or whatever, but no widescreen.

I just popped my 2004 copy in and checked. It supports progressive scan. And like the previous post said you can stretch the screen a tiny bit, same as MP1. But no widescreen support.

I still play the original 1 and 2, if they add even better controls, and widescreeen, to make those masterpieces better, they have my money.

But seriously, what's with releasing them separately, I want my Prime Trilogy pack.

Come on Sega, port Valkyria chronicles so the rest of the world can meet perfection.

They'll probably get rid of the power bomb early glitch and the no Dark suit trick, but otherwise it'll be the same more or less, aside from the improved controls.
