Sometimes it is fun not playing in the grueling meta game that is level 30.

Yeah when I played on my smurf account I got paired up against smurfs almost every time. But in the games where we didn't my friend would roll people with AD Veigar. Twas fun.

Most other smurfs aren't going to be uber pro though. Most of the real players stay in their lvl 30 accounts. I personally find the meta game to like pulling nails.

To teach others about the game.

Similar to twinking in WoW. A way to not have to face a real challenge and roll over enemies.

Though I can see some people running from metagame but I mean really unless you just have to play a few characters there's more than enough viability for most to play fine. This metagame crap is only if you're out there 5man team queuing against good teams.

Or I can see if you have a friend you wanna play with.

But mostly I think it just makes the game much worse through discouraging new players after they get stomped by sunfire twitch 5 times in a row.

Grab a friend, and play with one person on the mouse and the other on hotkeys. It's kinda funny :P
