"Have you seen my shark, Finsworth?"

So after realizing how much I like Annie, I thought it would be cool to create a playable male child mage.

So I created Tommy, who is a character largely inspired by Annie in the way that his skills are formatted, but at the same time plays very differently. His main "shtick" is knocking enemies around while doing a decent amount of damage.

Passive: Hydration - Whenever Tommy is in the area of effect of his own spells, he receives a high portion of the mana back. (30 or 40%?) .

Q - Water Jet - Tommy shoots out a stream of water at a high velocity. Upon contact with an enemy it knocks them back. Upon making contact with enemies, it applies half of the damage and the knockback in a small aoe.If it only hits one unit, it also applies a minor slow to them. This should have a fairly low CD.

W - Geyser - Tommy focuses his energy in a location, sending a massive burst of water upwards. Knocking all enemies in the effect zone up into the air and doing high damage.Note that unlike Cho'gath, this does not apply a slow afterwards. A good way of balancing this might be by making it do more damage, and have slightly longer knockup.

E - Bubble Shield -
Tommy shields himself with a protective bubble. While active it absorbs X amount of damage. Upon it wearing off, or being manually detonated (after being active for a couple of seconds), it knocks enemies away. Note that Tommy can only put this on himself.

R - Summon Finsworth
Tommy throws his doll into the air and it turns into a magnificent Shark Finsworth. Upon landing at target location, it knocks all enemies into the air and does X damage. Unlike Tibbers, Finsworth cannot stick around for long after. Only being able to be on the Field for about half of Tibbers duration. (Do to being a shark and there being a strong lack of water in the Fields of Justice). He also has no immolate ability like Tibbers. It should also be noted that unlike Tibbers, he does not have instant arrival, making it more dodgeable for players expecting it.

Synergy:

Tommy's passive can be used with all of his abilities. (Water jet if the opponents are next to him, Geyser if he targets an area near himself, bubble shield whenever it detonates, and summon Finsworth if he's in the area).

Tommy can combine bubble shield and water jet to keep melee characters off of him.

Tommy can combine geyser and water jet (or bubble-shield), by knocking enemies back into the geyser AOE.

Tommy can combo his Ultimate into Geyser, providing a double knockup if enemies clump too much together. (Although it should be noted that these AOES are not massive, and are more similar in size to Annie's summon Tibbers).

Pros:
Good survivability
Good team fight utility (being able to push around melee heroes, and push ranged carries out of attack range)
Strong disable

Cons:
Has trouble killing and chasing (Water Jet is NOT a good chasing technique, as it knocks enemies away).
Less damage than other mages (Annie!)
If not supported well, has trouble landing spells (Geyser is very dodgeable, while Summon Finsworth can be if the enemy team is expecting it).

Well that's the basic idea, any opinions?

Kinda fun, but even more "disable everything!" than Kennen, and knockback is such a strong ability that having two spells that cause it would be tough to balance. Especially on a low cooldown.

With those abilities as they are he would easily become the best caster in the game.

Considering no numbers have really been given (including knock-back range, knock-up time, cooldowns, mana-cost, spell-range, and even damage), I think that's a little hasty ;). My vision of the Q is a very, very small amount of knockback.

Even so, so many knock-ups/backs, especially with AoE components makes him TOO powerful of a caster. Even if the damage isn't amazing, he would essentially win almost every teamfight for his team.

I imagined Finsworth having the a similar AOE as tibbers, so in reality hitting more than 2 people seems very unlikely (Especially because he DOES NOT APPEAR INSTANTLY, enemies can dodge him). And I realize if their stunned they can't dodge, but I mean that would require them to be insanely clumped.
