Why does AD carry seem to be one of the least popular roles in solo queue?

I'll play on-hit Kog to the end of my days if I must.

Because nobody trusts random teammates to support them properly or even help.

This is what happens when you're an AD carry

-fighting people, about to get a kill, your teammate suddenly abandons you even though you're both going to clearly win this fight and get a kill, possibly two...gets nothing...might even die instead-

Reasoning? You name it, it happens. I've had "ALMOST" OOM excuses..or "killing the minion wave so we can push after they die"...it's just so..ewww. I'd rather jungle and get blamed for not ganking...because it's normally clearly their fault, gank or not. Or I'd rather mid or solo top since I can handle myself, and if I'm being outplayed, I can live with it..and try to adapt and make it so that I just try to get my farm, keep my tower, and not feed and just give up my ambitions for a game.

Being an ad carry can be more trouble than it's worth. It's also really "stressful" (as far as enjoyment, not REALLY, actually stressful) when you do bad as an AD carry...lol.

You just defined support with spelling errors

This is how you play LoL

I like playing AD carry, but I've become bored of it lately. The pool of champions is small, and even then they all play pretty much the same. Yeah, you throw in some spells with Corki, and early game Tristana is about her burst, but it all really ends up being right clicking the enemy.

I hate playing AD bottom in solo queue because most of the time I get some dumbass who gets Lux or Leona as a support and has no idea what to do. Or they get them early and then enemy team grabs Graves and Soraka and bottom lane is instantly lost.

Great freaking job, dumbass supports. Stop playing your stupid "kill lanes" please and learn how to actually support. Good gods... =_=

No matter which way you slice it you'll both be ending up in Hell!

Problem 1:
You have to trust your support to be good. A bad support will strongly contribute to the loss of your lane and you can't really stop them.

Problem 2:
Lane phase is normally pretty boring, unless you happen to be aggressive (which is encouraging their jungler to kill you) or they are being aggressive (which encourages your jungler to go feed the mid lane). Now, Top lane has a similar problem of normally being a boring farm lane, but it doesn't have this next problem...

Problem 3:
No impact on the early game. Which means if your teammates are all feeding there is very little you can do to stop it.

Compare that to the mid lane or top lane or the jungler. Once they have "won lane" they can normally go somewhere and force kills for their teammate. So not only will you win lane, you force your team to at least stalemate which gives you the advantage. But the ad carries don't really have a gank presence because they normally lack cc and are pretty squishy. I mean, ashe/ez can sometimes do something with their ults but even then that's a long shot. And what of the supports? I can't as sona just waddle up to top to try to stun Yorick so our Tryndamere can farm more easily because that's leaving my teammate 2v1 in the bot lane.

If you want to carry solo queue, you should play jungler/mid/top/ad/support in that order. Which is why so few people want to ad.

Or so I would guess from my own experiences.

Also, that feel when I play the last two roles best. :C
