That's pretty nice. I was placed 1405, but have since fell down a little. I was lucky, matched with good teams (I wasn't carried, I still did well, I just was lucky not to have leavers in 9/10 of my games. Since then I've had ragers and leavers in 3 games :/ Also I fed in one game (alongside the rest of my team).

I feel the same after the last few placement matches. My teammates for the most part had a strong grasp of what they were doing (except for some Ashe player who went 0/12/5 and had 140 CS behind Tristana, then said I (Taric) lost the lane). I suppose it's hit or miss who you get paired up with, and for all players like us know, we're just getting lucky. At least, you WERE until that little spree. But I agree with what I've heard other people say; it happens to the enemy team, too, on occasion. So it generally balances itself out.

Just be careful not to tank it below 1200 like I did after doing similarly well on my placements. lol

That sounds dangerous. Since I'm actually ranked now, my elo can only change by a max of like, 20 or something, right? That's a lot of lost games... I sure hope that doesn't happen :(

Bro, that's way better than my starting placement (860 lol) and it didn't helped I queue dodged a few times... you're off to a good start but don't be surprised if you sink to 1100-1200 range, naturally people go up and down elo in the beginning.... just keep going... I'm 1559 now :)

I just did a little reading, and it seems the Elo rating is going to be volatile so long as my W/L ratio is further from 50%, or something like that. So I definitely see a losing streak happening eventually. Sounds bad, but hey, I'd be lying if I said I thought I'd keep an 80% win rate.

Thanks for the encouragement, it is definitely appreciated. I try to let everyone pick a role they're comfortable with, and fill in from there. I need practice with AP mid lane characters, but other than that, I can do at least decent in any other situation. For the most part, this attitude has definitely brought out the best in most team mates, and I have no intention on changing how I work in the lobby.

I just wish I wasn't the team captain so often. I like to ask the team what champions they want banned, and of course I get about 20 suggestions. Nobody seems to understand that I can only ban 3! Though I suppose it's better to let me suffer that minor burden than someone who'd lose it over the disagreement.
