I agree with this one.
Q damage is very high.
TF or at least Shen is necessary on Hecarim because at max level, he could spam Q then auto attack to dealt about 400 damage every 2 seconds to main target and 200 damage to everyone else in range.
If you ignore him, your team will be wiped out.
Leveling E is just to reduce the cooldown by 2 seconds per level.
If you get 10% CDR, it's actually reduce more than 2 seconds on the E cooldown.
So if you get Frozen Heart, you already reduce the E cooldown about 5 seconds.
W will keep you alive while spinning your halberd left and right dealing tons of damage with TF.

That's if you are trying to do more damage. It's a fairly weak build compared to a lot of amazing things he can do (like shieres reviere and yomoos ghostblade combo)

This build is good build. Although I like Philo before HoG and if I am doing really well I skip the HoG/Randuin's and build a GA instead.

The heal is for all damage on any enemy/neutral monsters in the W range. Not just the damage from the skill. Means I can go into a gank at half health and come out at full health when the enemy laner dies. You want it maxed by level 13 for those midgame fights.

He's balanced around being fast, and champs that can permaslow him pretty much totally gimp his damage output.

...I've seen Hecarim dive into full enemy team, targeting the enemy ADC, get bursted down to about 20%, then press W and the rest of his team jumps in and fight ends with him at ~80% HP.
