He's got decent clears and good sustainability

Neither of these are really true. His clears are on the downside of average and his sustainability is fairly pitiful. He's vulnerable to counter-jungling early if the other jungler has the champ for it because he tends to get low if he's given a bad leash and he doesn't have a lot of early creep killing power. Mundo or Shyvana or Lee Sin can ruin his day pretty easily.

But, his ganks, counter-ganks, and teamfighting are all awesome. He can put a lot of pressure on lanes because of his speed and he can initiate and turn around fights with his Ult and peeling ability.

He's basically what Rammus was in early S2 - so-so jungler, outrageous ganking.

I'm probably biased since I mained Nautilus before I discovered Hecarim

..... Uh what.... You basically described every jungle champ ever, AND Who doesn't give a good leash these days? My junglers always head to wraiths at full health, and I'm back in my lane to get first creep. (Unless the enemy way decides to hate on just one creep.)

Solo queue.

Also, Hecarim's particularly susceptible to it, as I explained.

except that's the sound a horse makes but isn't an answer to the question

what I said is an answer to the question and has the happy coincidence of sounding just like the sound a horse makes
