Stopping an unusual tactic in blind pick.

I'll admit, I am a baddie. But one of the last normal games I played was against a "troll" strategy. And my team got rolled. We had no idea how to stop it.

Their line up was Graves, Heimerdinger, Nidalee, Garen, and Soraka. Every member of their team had teleport/revive. Garen went top, Graves bottom, and then the rest just pushed mid.

After the turret went down to heimerdinger pressure on the creeps and tower, graves teleported to mid after dying bot.

Nobody on my team knew what to do. Heimer had such a strong push, with two healers basically keeping him alive.

Everytime we killed one, they would revive, and teleport to a creep at the front line.

Revive has a 9-minute cooldown.

I suggest forcing teamfights more often than every 9 minutes.

TP's cooldown is pretty long too. Go for picks and then disengage. That team's teamfighting is kind of meh, really.

Thing is, early game, they don't care about death timers as long as Heimer survives with robots to push turret.

It also means that they can push after a "successful" teamfight because if we kill 4 of them, and they teleport in to clean us up while we are weak, they can push and move our defense line further back. Then they farm while we are down.

Our team was Shyvana, Irelia, Alistar, MF, and Oriana.

You rape your bot lane and have the jungler + top rape their top lane and then you use that advantage to wreck them in mid before you lose your third tower.

Thanks for help all.

I knew about the timer on Revive, but it seemed impossible to take advantage of it when every won teamfight turns into a loss after they TP back in. I doubt I would see the strat again, but now I have ideas for how to counter it.

Azubu Frost did something similar except without the troll summoners. After a failed gank bot lane by jungle(forcing the support player to B) the jungle just stayed and they got bot tower by 4 min mark. Then mid decided to join in on the fun and took 2nd tier turret to 1/2 hp.

They pretended to B then top lane Teleports to a ward hidden in bush and all 5 push for 2nd tier turret and get it by like 6 min mark. They pretend to B again but this time they all go mid and get that turret too. Giving them a 5k gold lead and some having 1-2 levels above lane opponents by 10 mins.

The rest of the game was just a pure stomp. OGN tournaments are so fun to watch.
