Elo gain after placement matches?

Alright, thanks for the info guys.

Assuming I win atleast 6-7 of the more higher elo reward matches I can get out of here and atleast be 1300 or close to it.

Ah, one last question though, what junglers are looking okay in S3 item changes? I've been kind of wanting to get Diana.

Also, would it be wise to wait for the item changes? (and to practice quite a bit in normals before using up my last 10 huge elo gain chances)

Well after they make the big changes you totally should practice normals before going in ranked (that is what I will do after the changes).

You can wait for the changes if you want to.
I, on the other hand, want to play ranked while I know the game.

And a few junglers that seem ok in S3, IMO, are Shaco (because he doesnt need help with anything except wraiths at lv1 if he wants to kill them), Nunu and Jax.

Not too sure about Jax though.

So are the currently top picks likely not going to be as good anymore? I'm sure Amumu will be for that game changing ult but, what about skarner or lee sin? I've also heard a bit about Diana jungle being effected.

That sounds good then, but yeah I'm tempted to get these next 10 matches done while I know the game and don't put the huge elo gains at too huge a risk..
