there was a game I played once where I never put a point into Q, and I just walk up fisted. but the enemy team is always so afraid of blitzcrank hook that it didn't even matter.

You clearly haven't met a good Support Nid who can land her spears. I single handily brought a witchcrank down to 5% HP and made him useless to his ADC. Than i destroyed his ADC before i ended up killing both of them while my Ashe was still farming and not bothering to fight them. Let's just say she had about a 2:1 cs advantage to their ADC while i had 4 kills and no deaths in that game.

1300 projectile speed for a spear. 1800 for a hook. Both have cast time.

We had them under their turret with low health and my spears picked up the kills. Under their turret they would have recalled and no one would have gotten kills if they had recalled. Also are u brain dead Spears out range his grab range by over 500 extra range. Clearly u still learn to learn how to play this game.

Plus diving is pretty simple with Leona Alistar Taric.

Plus in a normal 2v2 fight worth a damn you could win if your support wasn't asinine.

Plus in normal poke anyway Lulu and Sona are better.

Plus every other support provides more utility.

Plus every other support won't steal kills.

High base stats don't mean much for a melee champion without a reliable gap closer if you want to build him as a bruiser.

That being said, AD Blitzcrank Power Fist is painful.

On top of all that Nidalee mana cost is a million times lower than blitz. All nidalee needs is some buffs to allow her to become a popular support as she completely hard counters blitzcrank. Support Nid is like Jungle Nunu, a champion that is silently waiting for their time to shine (which Nunu will shine in S3 jungling).
