So are DotA 2 pros just more ballsy than LoL pros?

70% of DotA 2 heroes available at the time were picked at least ONCE in the International 2:

57% of LoL champions available were picked at least ONCE in the Season 2 World Championships

(note that Khazix, Syndra, and Rengar were auto-banned as they were recent releases though they appear on the list)

Because if I put that as the topic title I would be swarmed by LoL fanboys trying to dispute me despite the factual evidence in my OP.

Oh dota has slightly less heroes though

Also i didnt see the dota one thats interesting tc

Very surprised at some stuff.

I havent really followed meta.

Didnt think lycanbroke was banned by pros much

It's because not all champions are viable at all times.

Ashe is a champion that is not that great in tournies, because other ADs offer better advantages.

Varus' Q is amazing but he has a very early Fall off in game.

Warwick isn't that great compared to other junglers(Skarner, Lee sin, Maokai/Malphite)

It's just in tournaments people understand how to counter and what champions are better when they're the first picks.
