Dota boards are that way ----->

Literally never played DotA.

Have any of the guys here denying the fact that DotA has more overall skills involved even played enough DotA?

I'm not dissing League. League is a better game for some, and DotA is a better game for some others.

denying doesn't require interaction

The problem with dota isn't denial, it's turning speed. Turning speed makes the game clunky and uncomfortable and I can't get used to it after playing the game for 50 hours.

Eh.

The people that played League before they even touched DotA or any other "MOBA" would probably stick with League.

Deal with the turn speed... There's a hero in that game that slows your turnspeed down to like 10%. Already annoyed with the default turn speed? You're ****ed.

if you've ever played a game in which the weapons have stats (borderlands 2, tf2, any fps really), you'll understand that each stat of the weapon makes it weaker/stronger

In Gears ripping a machinegun off of a turret gives you crap turning speed and movement speed in exchange for a high firerate high damage weapon

Turnspeed is a stat that balances out heroes in the game and is necessary for the balance of some of them

Okay, seriously explain how I am wrong then.

Denial requires you to be good mechanically in hitting the minions before your opponent. (Aka, it's the same as being good at farming, with more things to hit.) Being good at it doesn't involve actually fighting your opponent. You aren't outplaying them by denying better than them, you are just better at mechanics then they are. It is a pointless addition to a player vs player game as you are putting more focus on mechanics instead of player interactions.

i think the thing that bothers me most about dota2 is that the mapping is probably worse

wtf

Being better at mechanics in a game doesn't apply to being a better player than someone else in a way?

ok
