the average elo of your team vs the average elo of the enemy team.

if the enemy team has a higher elo than you when you win, you earn more elo and they lose more. the reverse applies as well.

the higher elo you are the less elo you will gain and the less elo you have, the more you will gain. it is a rubberband effect.
