This. He IS based on anubis, but that doesn't mean he's a god, he's just similar to it in terms of appearance/powers/voice.

If you're religious(i'm not), think about it: didn't god made us based on his own image? That doesn't make us gods.

You're stretching. You're trying to equate God creating man in his own image to Riot creating Nasus in the image of Anubis. That's not the same thing.
