Lower level mid = worse lane control.

Most mids can farm under the tower very well anyway, so you won't be denying them anything.

The only thing you lose is XP for the dual lane side.


Try:

Ranged top

AP Mid

Bruiser 1v2 bot

Jungler

Roamer\ganker\counterjungler.

So then you got a support and an AP at lower level then their AP carry, who gets lots of damage from just leveling up. Typically will have an AoE or two. Now the jungler comes in, your level, and the AP carry, higher than both of you, and you die. Not to mention AP can have blue buff all day.

Why would you want superior lane control on the shortest lane that is also the most open to ganking?

Heh. Imagine four of your enemies got blues and reds; two from their jungle and two from your side. So much from superior lane control.

You're acting like the mid support can't help top/mid secure red or blue.
