How does silence work in regards to Volibear's passive?

Does it ignore silence? Activate after the silence wears off?

For that matter can silencing and killing Anivia or Karthus negate theirs?

Silence means to shut down or prevent further active abilities, nothing would happen to anyone you mentioned.

NOTHING can stop Voli's, Anivias, and Karthus' passive other than them being on cooldown.
