It doesn't really matter since the elo system is taking an overhaul but out of curiousity what the heck is up with it. The gains and losses aren't consistent and because of this Im stuck in what I've called elo purgatory. Basically I've been consistently losing more elo than gaining despite winning more games than losing. A key example is losing my last game and losing 20 elo for that single while only gaining 34-36 in the 3 games I won e before it. I've had games where I've had multiple players not connect or leave before the 20 minute mark cost me up to 24 elo and have won almost 60 minute games that rewarded me with eleven. I know there's a skill discrepancy regarding losses and gains but they never seem to be consistent with the supposed matchmaking factors that determine this. Anyone know or have a guide that explains this? Makes trying to climb out of the pit a lot more frustrating.

Google Elo. It's the system used in Chess. The more games you play, the more your skill normalizes, so you get diminishing returns. --- http://i.imgur.com/ZhLrT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/H6Frl.jpg
