You let Koreans have both Twisted Fate and Shen?

Game 1: Azubu Frost against SK Gaming!

Bans: Orianna, Cho'Gath, Nunu, Malphite, Blitzcrank, and Evelynn

AZF
Top - Kha'Zix
Jungle - Shen
Mid - Twisted Fate
Support - Sona
ADC - Miss Fortune

SK
Top - Olaf
Jungle - Amumu
Mid - Nidalee
Support - Zyra
ADC - Ezreal

AZF instantly grab Shen as he was left open, which leaves SK free to take Olaf and Amumu. Knowing the potential synergy between Amumu and Miss Fortune, AZF take Miss Fortune themselves coupled with Twisted Fate. SK grab Nidalee and Ezreal, though it's not initially clear whether or not Nidalee will support or run AP in the mid lane. AZF's last picks are Sona and Kha'Zix, and SK rounds out their line up with Zyra.

So AZF has a team with very scary global presence in Shen and TF, significant AD and AP burst through Zix and TF, and then an extremely strong poke lane bot with MF and Sona. Their team fight is relying on initiation from Shen, followed by lockdown from Sona and TF. During this time, MF can grab a black cleaver and chunk everyone's armor, setting Zix up for easy kills.

Sk's team instead focuses on something more similar to an AoE stomp comp. Between Amumu, Zyra, and Ezreal ult they can quickly turn a teamfight in their favor, especially when considering the poke potential between Nidalee and Ezreal. They also have decent anti-spilt push in their Nidalee and Olaf as their ace in teh hole with his ability to ignore the sparse CC of AZF.

And while I am typing this, the game has started and Sona has already fed first blood before 3 minutes. Sona, why are you so squishy. Zyra hit you with a root at level 1 and you just died :/

AZF manages to even up the score a few minutes later as Kha'Zix hits level 4 and immediately goes in on Olaf. Although Olaf is able to slow Zix down with an axe, it doesn't matter; Zix's jump brings him back in range to burst Olaf again, dropping the ignite on Olaf which kills him with it's last tick under tower. Unfortunately for the viking, his health pot was not enough to keep him alive.

So far, SK has the advantage in the bot lane with Ezreal maintaining a lead over MF. The mid lane is dead even, as is the jungle, but while SK has a minor lead bot AZF's top lane 'Zix has twice Olaf's CS. Amumu heads top to try and gank 'Zix, but he misses the bandage and Zix is able to escape.

8 minutes in and the bot lanes have gotten their ults, which means Sona and MF are going in strong. Ezreal and Zyra focus on MF, but a timely shield from Shen keeps her alive. TF quickly ults into the fight, allowing MF to get a kill on Zyra. Nidalee follows by using her Summoner Teleport on a river ward. and while she's able to kill the wounded MF she can't do it before MF ults Ezreal for a double kill.

As far as items are concerned 10 minutes into the game: Zix has a Brutalizer and BF sword which is fairly standard for him. Olaf has a giant's belt and crystal, seemingly going for a Warmogs. Twisted Fate has opted for a rushed Twin Shadows in order to assist in ganks, while Nidalee has grabbed a Tear and NLR. MF has a brutalizer and Vamp scepter combo, a very common MF build in Korea, while Ezreal opted for Boots 2 and Vamp Scepter.

As soon as the two global ults are available, AZF goes in heavy on the bot lane. Ezreal is able to escape the four man dive, but Zyra stood no such chance. Sk's counter is to have Amumu gank Kha'zix, and between Curse of the Sad Mummy and a well aimed Undertow they are able to kill 'Zix. But despite their best efforts they don't have the damage to take the tower, and meanwhile AZF takes the first dragon.

16 minutes into the game AZF has a 3k gold advantage with 4 kills to 3.
Zix has finished his Bloodthirster to go with his Brutalizer while Olaf opts for Sunfire Cape to give him armor and counter push. Nidalee has picked up her Deathcap while Twisted Fate still only has Twin Shadows and Sorc Boots. Miss Fortune has finished her Blood Thirster to go with her Brutalizer, but she ultimately grabs Merc Treads instead of Zerker greaves. Interestingly, Sona goes for 2 gp/10 and sighstone while Zyra takes Ruby sightstone and no gold/10 items.

20 minutes in and after some back and forth Sona gets a flash ult that allows AZF to initiate. Twisted Fate drops his Twin shadows, slowing Zyra and Nidalee and making them easy pick ups for Zix and MF. Amumu tries to save them and pays for it with his life. AZF will take the 2nd tier mid tower as well.

But as they head for Dragon, Ezreal is able to steal it with his ult. Miss Fortune seems to be in trouble, but timely assistance from Shen lets her grab a kill before Ezreal brings her down.

The current score at 23 minutes is AZF 9-5 with a 5.5k gold lead and a 2 tower advantage.
