Been using Telus high speed but lately it just sucks so bad, constant internet dc's. I need a reliable network ~$50 a month. Suggestions?

Canada, while being obectively better than the US in most respects, does not have great ISPs.

Telus Shaw and Bell all suck

Canada is screwed because the internet is an oligopoly.

FWIW I am currently on Shaw and it's stable ping and decent speed now but that's after I called in multiple times and b----ed at them to fix s---.

I used to constantly have spiking ping, a dropping connection and poop level download speeds.

If you're in Manitoba, you got another choice, MTS

... But its not that much better then the other three.

What province you in I'm in AB using telus and the Internet is perfect but sometimes it just randomly cuts off with zero ways of me even suspecting it. I can't play league go on voip, etc just Internet for like 5-20 minutes mostly 5 and it is very angering for ranked, you get something smilar or no?

Although I am not in Canada, I can say that most ISPs like to keep their customers. Because of this, I have had some success (after moves and such) by going with a maaaybe good ISP, and complaining relentlessly if they suck. Usually all it takes is to imply you might sign up with so-and-so and they fix stuff quick.

The only downside to that is that if you do manage to not get into some kinda cancellation-fee contract, and they do let you leave for someone else, you might run out of options. >.>

I'm in Alberta too (Calgary) and after 10pm or random times of the days it just shuts off for like 10 seconds and then turns back on. It's really stupid and pissing me off some much.
