Why are all Yi players bad?

I think I have never won a ranked game with yi on my team

Well there's your problem.

Similar to Shaco, if they're on your team they will feed. If they're on the opposing team they will get fed.

Post 1300 elo everyone can avoid a Yi gank. That makes jungle Yi unusable.

This leaves AP yi. AP Yi is a really good laner, and has a hard time losing his lane, but AP yi falls off hard late game if his team isn't coordinated.

For the record i have met one cool, good, Yi and several silent ones but for the most part bad or good the talkers are terrible people.

Either way it's scary as hell when they're on the other team. Good news is they always seem to forget about teamfights and just split push all day.
