From: Pezofpower | #127 Thick or thin skin isn't even the problem, it's that there is a feature to disable you from being bullied and so somehow it's still an acceptable punishment to ban people when you have to literally submit yourself to the punishment in the first place. Mute is just a stopgap measure. It's just a way to not have to deal with someone spamming or being offensive in the chat. Most people are real about it, and once again hold their teammate accountable. They don't have to be nice about it, it's not their job to be, and it's their right to express it thus if they chose. League of legends in of itself is hardly a sport. Yes it belongs to the Esports scene en masse however; if you are on a esports team you are not playing with randoms with 0 accountability and you have team members who you legitimately care about because they aren't some faceless internet scrubling. --- PSN:Pezofpower | |
If you get permabanned it means you've been banned several times before and you've had more than enough time to reflect and change your behaviour to make sure it doesn't happen again. If you choose to go about the same way as you always have and end up getting permabanned as a result I would say that's entirely your own fault and you'll have to deal with the consequences of your actions. --- Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car. | |

Of the RL people i know who plays league, there are 2 people who does a lot of raging. The difference between them is that when they play, the others listen to one, and ignore the other. The reason is that the first person would say something like "OMG WHY DID YOU DO THAT?! WE CALLED 3 MIA AND YOU JUST RAN INTO JUNGLE ALONE. I CAN'T CARRY THIS ****. WHEN WE CALL MIA, LISTEN AND DON'T GO IN ALONE! WE EVEN PINGED THE MAP!" The other guy would say something like "**** BOT FEEDING SO HARD. IM WINNING MY LANE BUT THEN I LOSE TO FED ADC. **** BOT SUCKS." So despite the two both raging and blaming their teammates, the first at least point's out the error and tells them what they should have done instead, while the second just rages.
