Easy bots to train on...

I don't know why lol players are so elitist when most aren't very good themselves.

To the TC, just play more games. If you aren't playing ranked and you aren't swearing at people, nothing will happen to your account regardless of how well or poorly you did during the game.

You need to play with... real people and real bot games. Not custom games. You can also ask those people questions and on how to play. Not only that, but don't get too excited as 3000 IP will come maybe after 30-40 games or so when you're max level, which is a long time.

PS: Make sure your camera isn't locked onto your character (default button Y) or else you'll be playing and forming a bad habit. Use some easy website to understand like Mobafire if you want build ideas.

Can you not give someone terrible advice like this? Plenty of good players such as myself, doublelift, and dyrus all use locked camera. It's not a bad habit, just use either Y or space to shift between locked/unlocked when really necessary.

Your friend was being a jerk then... You don't get banned for how you play, you get banned if you rage in chat over and over cussing and yelling at everyone else playing.

Also you don't just get banned, you get warned first and then you get a bunch of short bans (like 48 hours or a week). To get totally banned is after 8 other punishments where you never learn and keep raging in chat.

So dont worry about it, your friend was just leaving that part out cause he cant admit fault.

Huh, that would make sense. He DOES get a little over-exited from time to time, though I never heard anything derogatory from him. According to him, he only got negatives for "playing poorly/unskilled" and I can understand that. After all, most of the champions he plays are the free rotation ones so he shifts non-stop.

Also just play more games... Sometimes bot games are hard for a newbie if they get rolling. Don't freak out and assume it was the team comp (honestly team comp matters very little in bot games it seems). Just play more you'll get the hang of how to smash them.

Oh by no means, I am not blaming the AI. Frankly, Cho'gath BOT was the reason we even won in the end with his massive health. Was a rather smart one too. 4 of the opposing BOTs grouped together often and he had impeccable timing with Rupture+Feral scream to target them, while my Judgment was slicing through them.

Like I said, it was likely my fault for picking 3/5 opponents capable of slowing you down and cutting off my allies' escapes. So, I guess I'll need to figure out which are easier targets to get used to this more.

Well double post, but humor me for a bit.

So I did a bit of experimenting again. Had to rework a bit for the line-ups but I did much better in this one. I had it set up this way:

My team: Garen (me), Cho'gath, Taric, Soraka, Leona.
BOT Team: Xin Zhao, Malaphite, Nasus, Sivir, Master Yi.

I switched out Warwick for Taric since the former kept getting killed all the damn time and Taric's AI is really good at healing when needed. All in all, this battle went much smoother. Finished it in 45 minutes, with 31 kills/4 assists and only 4 deaths. In comparison, the previous battle took 56 minutes, got 14 kills/6 assists and 6 deaths.

I'd say that's a bit of a improvement. Now, if I can just make sure the BOTs don't get their First Blood on me all the time. Though I did manage to pull of Garen's preferred strategy of hiding in a bush and striking at the unsuspecting AI. Trouble was that it was Malaphite who kept me slowed after Decisive Strike so he got away. Oh well, maybe I'll switch him out for something squishier.

If you use locked camera you are bad. I have watched dyrus and doublelift stream and they do not use locked camera. They hold space when they want it locked. It is not terrible advice and you are impairing yourself and your team for using. I see you on these forums acting like your so great. I've never seen proof that you are anything at all. Locked camera is bad.

Well I knew a very good Hazama player who started playing League of Legends, He got gold ELO like a month after hitting 30. So by my logic providing you are a good Haku-men you should be a great Garen, Darius or Ryze. Stick to the simple champs and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Though, I was never a good Haku-men player. I mostly play Garen because I like his voice actor, simple skills and lore. The rest I have my eye on for similar reasons and want to own are Katarina, Riven (gonna hold off on them for now since they got hit with nerfs this patch), Ahri (the one mage champion I do want) and Shyvana (because dragons are awesome).
