These players usually spend the entire game typing in a made up language, typing song lyrics, or roleplaying their champ. They usually use an abnormal pick like Cait mid or jungle Ezreal. They are likely to use abnormal builds like Mpen Mundo or only purple items or only swords that point to the upper right. Despite all of this they often end up carrying hard.

The best troll I pulled off was roleplaying GP and copying the enemy top's build. When they asked why, I said "Because the RIAA says copying is stealing. YAR HAR HAR!"
