I want a new mage who's passive would work kind of like sonas, each of his skills would have an element (ice fire electric) and depending on his last used spell he auto attacks get a on it effect (slow, Dot, spash)

actually the Nautilus ultimate was Vi's

my ideas:
a permanent pet champion a la Lone Druid, or one that can summon pets (Lycanthrope, Beastmaster)

Spectre's Q (she throws a trail out, and can pass through terrain otherwise unreachable). Mark a target, and they leave a trail, like Nocturne Q, which'll help you bypass terrain without flash (can't if no target to mark).

something like Cloud's Blade Beam (FF7): Throws out a projectile which'll stun the initial target, the beam would then split apart and hit any nearby enemies, dealing reduced damage but applying a slow
