Person afk's in character selection. Now I gotta wait 30 mins. LoL moment.

yay. Wanted to do a game tonight and now I gotta wait cuz some idiot decided to "accept" the rank invitation but afk's in select.

Even after all this time playing. I have a hard time taking elo ranked gaming seriously at times.

Makes you wonder why being afk even leads to randoming.

Why doesn't not choosing a champ by the time limit kick you out of the lobby?

In ranked, if someone is afk, it forces them to dodge at the last second.

Pretty much. Odds of someone accepting a game and then immediately going afk are pretty slim unless it's intentional. Though mommy probably called them down for dinner.
