That's not the only build, but tear is essential, if not a requirement, and warmogs is pretty good for him. I would make sure to max the mana regen mastery too.

Just keep in mind that your ghouls scale off your AD and Health. His W has good AP scaling, but I don't think that it is better than going tanky AD.

Other good item choices:

Spirit Visage (If you don't get it somewhat early, I wouldn't bother)
Frozen Fist
Frozen Mallet
Atmas Impaler
Swift boots (catching up to people can be annoying sometimes)

yorick is fun as hell, because you know you are pissing of the enemy

also yorick is a great mid, if you want to piss off the enemy ap carry

Only damage you need is Manamune and Frozen Fist. For tanky take Warmogs and Spirit visage, finish off with an armor item. You won't need a GA since you are unkillable and rarely get focused.

Best tip I can give you is start Faerie charm+2 red sodas+2blue sodas + and 2 wards.
When you hit 1k gold, go base and get tear and boots and refill some sodas. Try to get manamune as fast as you can.
