Never jungled - Should I buy Hecarim?

All decent 'junglers' I have are Diana and Elise. I have a few other champs that can jungle as well, but none that are classified as such in-game (Riven, Shen, Yi, maybe a couple others).

Anyway, would Hecarim be a good way to start? I'm really just asking due to the sale, since if I don't get him now, I probably won't get him at all. Not for several months anyway. So, if he's like one of those junglers best left to experienced junglers, I'll pass for now..

Hecarim was my first experience as Jungle.

I now kick ass. Get Hec.

A good but easy to learn jungle is Trundle. Easy to learn as heck and effective. I have no idea why nobody plays him.

Strong, tanky, and good.

Get hi if you want a Jungler who's fast, adn snowbally. If he gets rolling, he doesn't stop. He does a lot of damage, his ganks are rather powerful, if a litlte obvious (pony runs at you from the back) and the items he naturally builds into gives utility, tankiness and damage.

He's great overall.

He's also not that bad of a top, too.

if you want babby's first jungle, take warwick or nunu.

Hecarim is still pretty good, though.
