W for more sustained damage but less instant burst.

E for better burst and lower CD. But can be dodged and if you use it for escape you lose alot of your damage.

W, does damage based on missing health. And it damages you so it does more damage. While damaging you...

Wave clear = more farm = more gold = faster items = faster deathcap and lich bane
And the dodging of stuff + gap closing.

I you're using a skill as an escape then why does it matter if you're losing damage. You're just gonna go back to base right?

E means more money an farm for items, maxing it the way to go. It wont matter that your using his escape as attack youll kill them faster before you die with the farm and items made with E. thus concludes the long debate. Max E first. This topic has closed

I don't even remember what each skill is anymore. The flippy stick thing does more damage and has more utility than the dot-poke. So go for that, I guess.

all else fails it gives a shorter cooldown if memory serves.

W. More consistent damage.

A lot of the time you're using E to close distances (in addition to Q) or dodging turret aggro and you can't always get the second cast actually ON them for the damage. You put too many of your damage eggs in the E basket.

Hybrid maxing is also acceptable but W should have the extra point.

But if you've mastered Fizz, you should be using E primarily to hit them with it.
