I dont understand...

is this working as intended

like for me

game 1 win 8 LP
game 2 lose back to 0 LP
game 3 win 16 LP
game 4 lose back to 0 LP

lol....

and it seems a few other people are experiencing something similar
Game 1: Win - 14+ LP
Game 2: Win - 11+ LP = 25LP
Game 3: Loss - 24- LP = 1LP (WTF?!?!)
Game 4: Win - 12+ LP = 13LP....

So I've won 3 out of 4 games and im only 1 game up? Someone explain how this makes sense... I'm worse off than after my first win and I've won 75% of my games (3/4)

I believe they said it uses a formula for lp that isn't being made open to the public, perhaps that accounts for it?

I know lp gains decrease the higher you get in your division

this isn't concrete btw, just some things I thought I read in red posts

You lose or win more depending on your side.

But yeah I've noticed this too and it's pretty dumb, they released this too early tbh, I was expecting late feb or early march.

Haven't looked at the topic but his elo could be very low (it's hidden now) and he could be playing with people a lot worse than him. Which would mean he earns.. a very low amount of LP per match until his elo is higher.

But yeah things are really wonky right now, I have a few gold/couple plat friends who are up in arms about things being odd.
