Long time DotA/DotA 2 player - looking to try out this game

Long time DotA (and RTS) player here. Looking to try out what many here call the next evolution in the MOBA genre.

Here are the ones I main in DotA, which champions are similar?

anyway,can't really think of any champions similar to ones in dota,a lot of stuff is different.

Precisely, very observant!

Yeah as a long time RTS player, I prefer the micro oriented characters that can summon multiple units. It's fun doing blocks and flanks.

So which League champs are like that? I looked at Shen and Twisted Fate and non of them seem to have any unit summoning.

Shaco does have the clone and Elise has the spiderlings, so I'm sure to try them out! Should be fun playing around with the spiderlings and hiding them in the jungle to pounce on an isolated champion.
