Which ap mid can single handedly carry the game?

Mid Cho carries pretty hard. In addition to his high damage output, he has innate tankiness and some of the best CC tools in the game.

Most low CD AP mids can carry when fed. Cass, Karth, Ryze, Akali, Kat etc.

Champions with big AoE and some sort of CC can also carry their team. I've seen Brands and Oriannas carry entire teams because everything melts to them in teamfights.

This. A fed Kassadin can singlehandedly carry a game. Just like most champions that can carry, good CC will stop him in his tracks, but most good Kassadin players I've seen always take Cleanse. And with his element of surprise and silence, if the enemy team splits up for any reason, he can pick them off one by one. It's like watching a horror movie, haha. =P
