So with all this pure HP building that is going on maybe riot will decide re-add
It's because current health % will lose power when.they are almost dead. And you want to do the most damage all the.time instead of only when.they have.full health.
-box is like a life of chocolates-
They are equally bad items in most cases.
MBR: AD items that did magic dmg, while great on anyone with 0 MR, anyone with merc would cut effect by half, even more with negatron.
BotRk: Current health dmg is really lacking on most folks outside fighting against warmog stackers, but still BT does more dmg as health goes down(under 2k). Combine the fact adc would get IE and crit items makes BT does way more dmg than BotRk even at max health.
BotRk beats MBR on being cheaper and an active, it is just comparing who is worse.
POK Erthroid Myeloid Ontogenic
The only reason that people stack health is because black cleaver is core on every AD bruiser and assassin and the few MR items that exist are trash. So health is your only defense. They need to nerf cleaver and add MR items
People who think botrk is better than razor are the same dumb people who think liandry is a great item.
Liandry's is the best item in the game, you scrub.

a lot of the HP stacking involves Sunfire cape, and blade of the ruined king is attack damage based....so it gets mitigated from that. plus armour in general is still easy to buy and goes up with level. Madreds had the fact that it was magic damage, and stacking health the way peoplel do now would be bad and force them to get an MR item.
I think they just needed to make it cheaper/not build out of madreds razors.

TriangularTwig posted...madreds was way better than botrk
Lifesteal is pointless if you get bursted down as a carry by assasins and tankydps in 1 go.
Mandred was waaaaay better. Magic damaged based off of total health. This is physical damage based off of current health. All people have higher natural armor and current health makes it even more worthless. It doesnt even have Attack Speed.
MBR really wasn't that good of an item. Anybody who stacked health likely had some MR as well which mitigated the damage considerably. It was almost never worth getting a MBR in a serious game. BoRK actually has some uses.
People have more Armor then Mag Res naturally. Even if people had to get MR... it cost them atleast. With BoRK... they get less damage due to armor and wont even have to use gold to reduce the damage. Most people will cross 100 Armor at high level and runes. While Mag Res if not build stays 30 or 50ish for many champs.
Are people seriously damage controlling MBR now?
And then John was a zombie.
Umm, why are people comparing the two items head to head? MBR's cost is on an entirely different level.

What? It cost them nothing, because they were building mr anyway, because they were bruisers/tanks and it was a vital part of their build. Trying to make it seem like MBR would or could force anyone into any kind of decision is dumb.
BoTRK benefits from arpen, which the champs that would build Botrk would have to begin with and would likely be building more of in the form of LW/BC, meaning it actually has a way to prevent its damage from becoming non-existant to the targets it needs to hit. Not to mention it has a great active and it much more cost effective.
