Who do you ban in solo queue and why?

Amumu - I don't trust my four teammates to not get rammed by constant amumu ults, even if I counter jungle him to all hell.

Twisted Fate - Map awareness for others is too hard, the pressure he creates on the enemy jungler can be somewhat annoying as well.

X - I ask what bans my team would personally like to avoid any kind of tension before picks even start. I try being a team player. But I'm beginning to want to ban Ahri simply because I'm tired of seeing her on either team.

I ask my team who they want first before I make bans.

I ban their picks then proceed with my plans.

If I'm first pick?

2 whatever bans. Kha, vi, cho, and blitz. Then I see what other banned and try to get amumu or malp to jungle.

If I'm 2nd pick? amumu > malp > ask team if blitz is already banned.

Blitzcrank : He's just annoying to deal with. I've been banning him for awhile now.
Khazix : Insane damage and a long range resetting leap.

I've also recently been banning Elise quite a bit. She is just too much of a lane bully.

Malphite and blitz are my staple bans - unless I am planning on taking one of them. Then see if the team has any they want to get rid of.

Call me selfish but I tend 1 or 2 bans to get rid of my counter picks.
I want singed top? goodbye teemo.

My four first go to for Bans are: Blitz, Shen, Amumu and Malphite.

Mostly I just don't trust my team to avoid their ults (or entire kits for Blitz).

Blitz- Just annoying
Shen- Dat ultimate ruins ganks.
Katarina- Snowballs like mad.
Amumu/Malphite- I think they're both good but overrated, and people will cry like no other if you don't ban.
Darius- Just does too much damage even while building tanky.
