Probably the fact that - although it can sort-of-happen occasionally - you can't win a game by yourself. Victory comes down to the other 4 people too. If they're not doing what that edgy guy wants them to, or causing you to be in a losing position, [snap]. I don't want to resort to a cheap stereotype, but it's almost too tempting to assume that most players don't want to socialise / communicate much, and don't like not having entire control over everything that's going on unlike in other games that don't enforce the same level of co-op.

It`s not just this game...every single game that has any form of competitive gameplay makes some people rage hard.
You are trying to understand madness with logic. This is not unlike searching for darkness with a torch.

I'd say the other poster more or less nailed it on the head. There's been several times where I was dominating my lane, whether it be solo or with a partner, but the rest of my team just failed so hard that we still lost. Or sometimes vice versa and I'll be having a terrible game and holding my team back.

Overall this is why I usually prefer to play with my IRL friends. We'll get together with our laptops/desktops in the same room and have a big LoL nerd party. It makes things much easier when all you have to do to communicate with your team is shout across the room.

dota 2 is different because hard carries are actually good

I dunno what got into people lately but my games have had my mid and top at each others throats. Threatening to afk, feed, and all the marbles. Thing was, they were both positive, both won their lane, and were both carrying. Yet they kept calling each other terribad and cursing at each other.

It was not a duo. I am dead sure it wasn't a duo. It took the other 3 of us spamming "SHUT UP" until it blocked us from chat to shut them up.

Then why don't you carry 2v5 in league?
