Why is mid lane so POPULAR?

I like mid because I use Ahri, Zyra, Cassiopeia and KhaZix most of the time...

It is a fun lane, and is associated with fun champions. Some of the more interesting champs are mid lane champs. It also has the added benefit of not being mostly a bruiser lane like top, which is never fun to lane against.

AP mid's take the least skill to last hit with are the easiest to carry with when you are fed, maybe the most important one you are less dependent on your teammates. Probably the least of all roles.

It is very simple.

2 reasons.

People don't like to jungle because it takes too much thought about [even if subconsciously] time management and everyone blames you for every loss.

Jungler is the global support [as the support is the support for the AD, it is a similar relationship]


People don't like bot lane because you have to rely on someone else as the AD carry or you get ruined [so many supports tend to not know what they are doing because they were forced to go support, and end up hurting their AD carry more than helping]

Support people don't like for reasons similar to the jungler and obviously people play this game like call of duty wanting to just get all them kills and stuff.

So mid and top get left over as the 2 lanes that don't inherently rely on your team mates, for just the basic laning phase [you cannot rely on your jungler, if you are banking on your jungler to win your lane for you then you already lost] And they get to get them sweet call of duty headshot KDA

That, so much! Can`t count the times someone has written in chat "lol, killed him!" only for me to notice that committing himself to that kill cost him his own life a few seconds later...and even a turret. People prioritize their KD much more than what`s best for the team.
