I dunno, that forum post after the JoJ update that had a lot of up votes might've helped.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find the monkey.

O_O

Suddenly this is given an entirely different sense.

"Those close to him believed that his capture had changed him. Xin Zhao was quoted as saying: "His eyes never seemed to look at you, only through you to something he could not look away from." One day, without warning, Jarvan IV handpicked a squad of Demacian soldiers and left Demacia, vowing to find "atonement". He began by tracking and hunting the most dangerous beasts and bandits he could find in northern Valoran, but he soon tired of such prey. Seeking something that only he understood, he ventured south of the Great Barrier. He wasn’t heard from again for nearly two years. After many had assumed the worst, he returned to glorious fanfare on the streets of Demacia. His Demacian plates were adorned with the bones and scales of creatures unknown. His eyes bore the wisdom of someone twice his age. Of the twelve soldiers who had departed with him, only two returned. In a tone as cold and steady as steel, he swore to bring the enemies of Demacia to their knees."

An amazing twist if it happens to be true.

They already have Annie.

Why shouldn't truth be stranger than fiction? Fiction, after all, has to make sense.

Lol, did some research and suddenly the theory is no longer plausible.

It has been speculated that LeBlanc disguised herself as Jarvan IV, or had mentally manipulated him, in order to start the Kalamandan war between Demacia and Noxus.

After Jarvan IV was defeated and nearly executed by Swain and Urgot, people described him as "different".
Jarvan IV's two years expedition to the south of the Great Barrier is still a mystery.
Jarvan IV did not have a Judgment before entering the League due to an interuption from Swain. Thus, no one has truly "explored" his mind.
RiotRunaan stated that what was going on with Jarvan IV is very different from what the community thinks, so this theory is most likely false.

Would have been cool.
